2006-
Lots of stuff changed in 2006. The beginning of the year found us still renting out rings or doing matches before and/or after shows. We did A LOT of traveling- road life!! We also printed our first SLAMminLadies t-shirts!

We were looking for a home for SLAMminLadies though and in June we found it. We had been looking for a house and we wanted something with a big enough piece of property that we could potentially put a building with a ring in it. We found an awesome house and, bonus, it already had a building on it. The building was 19' by 36' so we bought a low boy, 16 foot ring from High Spots. We had it delivered and set up before we even moved into the house fully. We had our first shoot there in June with only part of the house set up. We got a low boy because the ceiling were slanted so we didn't have a lot of headroom for top rope maneuvers. There were some light fixtures that needed to be moved, painting to be done, and we had to install window ac units so we didn't die of heat stroke but we had our own place and an awesome, clean ring to work in.

We still did some shoots on the road when it was worth it. Now we started working with Florida companies to bring other female workers to shows and splitting transportation costs. Our house had 2 spare bedrooms so we could have wrestlers stay with us and ride to shows together.
We started working with Josie, Mercedes Martinez, Daffney, and others along with our Florida staples- Lorelei Lee, Amy Love, Malia Hosaka and our regular travel crew of Amber O'Neal, Lacey, and Rain. A lot more wrestlers started moving to Florida at this time too. WWE had started talks with FCW to become a developmental territory and TNA was working out of Universal Studios plus there were a lot of indie shows still happening.

Having a ring at our house really changed our business model and it made the long shoot days a lot easier. Food was easy to supply- everyone loves my chicken and my spaghetti- probably because they're just starving after working all day. There were areas to hang out in when you weren't wrestling and showers for afterwards. After 2+ years, it was the beginning of another era for us.
